Slow then fast…
This is the last “slow” week. That’s what I keep telling myself.
After this week, time will speed up even more because, “things” start.
Next week I am traveling to sunny Arizona for a Fit Me Nutrition team training and then time with my mentor, Jason Phillips. This is the first Fit Me Nutrition team meet up and I am very excited.
I’m also excited to do an Arizona hike. I need some sunshine and mountain time.
The following week we get our new puppy! We still haven’t finalized her name. I’m thinking we will wait until we meet her to decide.
After all your suggestions, I think are top 8 are:
Dakota, Dottie, Dee Dee, Dobby, Daphne, Dasha, Duchess, and Donut.
The week after that, flag football season starts for both boys. We will add practices and games to our weekly routine of school, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and horse lessons.
All you mom jugglers understand how the activity dance works….weeknights turn into a blur of crockpot dinners, searching for cleats and uniforms, and endless water bottle hunts.
I did a blog post a while back…5 Meals for Busy Weeknights…here is the link if you missed it. I will probably do another round or 2 of these blog posts and share the kind of meals I make for juggling season.
Do you have a “go to” favorite meal for busy nights? If you are down for sharing it, write me back and I’ll include the best ones in my post!
