Birds of prey…

This is definitely good practice for baby girl.  After crying the whole first night in her crate, Bonny the Bernedoodle puppy only woke up 2 or 3 times last night.   It was an improvement over night 1.

I got SOME sleep.
Side note, every time I take her out at night I am afraid of owls and eagles.   I hope me standing there in my big puffy coat is enough to deter them. But the thought has crossed my mind that I might have to turn into ninja preggo and roundhouse kick a bird of prey.
Don’t worry, she is resting on the couch right next to me right now…. and I’m pretty sure my bird fears are pregnancy hormone related.
In fact, yesterday I had my 27 week check up.  I forgot to ask my midwife if avian fears are normal…lol

Baby girl is doing fine and measuring the right size.  I now go back for appointments every 2 weeks rather than every 4.   Today I have to go get a routine blood glucose text to check for gestational diabetes.  Boo for blood draw….even bigger boo for sitting there for an hour.
I also HAVE to get some groceries today.  Last night I made us Burger Bowls and my boys loved it, but I’m running out of emergency freezer dinners.

If you want to see the recipe, I put it on my instagram live.  They each had 2 bowls!

Until tomorrow,
